Purpose
The purpose of this page is to let everyone know what is going on with the Wiki itself and what we are currently working on (and need help with) so you can help us.
Welcome
The Wiki to track the history of the Forumopolis community! Add yourself, add your friends, add events, add "Hall of Fame" threads, and anything else you want! This is OUR wiki to tell the history of OUR community. There is only one limitation, you must follow the rules that have already been set up at Forumopolis. This is more concerning NSFW stuff and "if you wouldn't post it on the forum, don't post it here". Talking about banned members and ban-able stuff in a historical context is OK.

How else can I help?
There are plenty of things you can do to get the wiki off the ground:
- Write Articles
- This is the most needed addition to wiki (and easiest to do). Without articles there is absolutely no reason to visit, so just find a topic to talk about and write a little article. If you don't know everything, don't worry that is the point of a wiki. Just get the ball rolling and others will fill in what they know! Suggestion: Write your own biography, drama queen!
- Monitor Articles
- Check out all the new articles and changes being made all the time and see if they need additions or edits. Although we don't have guidelines setup yet, try and follow the general wiki standards of truth and neutrality. I know... it's hard.
- Images
- Start collecting images to be posted on the wiki: historical snapshots, famous line-ups, avatars, signatures, and anything you feel noteworthy. Very soon we will have a way to upload images and they display them in articles. For now you can feel free to use your own webspace or a image service to host them and then just post a link. Try and avoid the "Post Yourself" threads... even NASA doesn't have that much bandwidth.
- Theme
- For the adventurous (or art major) try this out for size! The standard MediaWiki theme is nice, but we should really have our own. Feel free to go wild with this and then send me the results. E-mail me if you need information about making themes. Or better yet: Google it!
