Wikiopolis:Article guidelines

From Wikiopolis

  • You must follow the rules that have already been set up at Forumopolis. This is more concerning NSFW stuff and "if you wouldn't post it on the forum, don't post it here". Talking about banned members and ban-able stuff in a historical context is OK.
  • If you want to write something nasty about yourself in your own article that is OK, but do not write nasty things about others (and I am talking really nasty... not just "GK likes hobbits").
  • Non-sense articles or articles without any real content will be removed. It doesn't take much effort to add some real content and THEN slip in something silly at the end.
  • Discussion about a topic (ex: if an edit was needed) belongs on the discussion page, not in the article itself. Just click on ‘‘discussion’’ tab, which is right next to the “edit” tab.
  • If someone tells you to stop messing with his or her entry (or are editing it out themselves) please stop. However...
    • If something really happened then it really happened. We can't cover up the Holocaust... but we also can't blame Hitler for flying monkeys. This rule can be looked at on a case-by-case basis. Contact a sysop.

If you feel someone is violating these guidelines contact a sysop.
